How well do you know the tribes in Montana?

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Montana is home to 12 tribes, but too often, people don’t know much about these tribes, their history, culture, language and news. That’s one reason why I started this newsletter – to help keep people informed.

I created a tribal news quiz for those who want to test their knowledge. This quiz is intended to be fun. There’s no judgment or shame if you miss questions, and your results won’t be shared unless you choose to share them. I hope the quiz celebrates Indigenous communities and encourages thoughtful learning.
