‘How GIS Is Changing The World’ – 3/8 – Missoula, Montana

Please join us next Thursday, March 8th at the Burns St. Bistro for a GIS panel discussion, ‘How GIS is Changing the World’. The UM Geography Club and MAGIP have assembled a diverse collection of panelists:

Keith Stockmann, USFS Economist

Teresa Morales, Geotechnical Engineer

Ross Carlson, OnX Maps

Hilary Martins, UM Geoscientist

We are still hoping to have another guest to represent the GIS Department from the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office.

This collection of panelists will offer insight into the many ways GIS is used everyday throughout nearly every profession. Please come with questions!

The event will begin at 6:30 PM with some time to mingle and meet new people, and the discussion will happen from 7:00 – 8:30.

We hope to see you there!
