Hellgate Angels Monthly Meeting, – Presenting Rivertop Renewables And Satic, 1/19, Missoula

Angel Investors organize in Missoula to invest in regional startups and entrepreneurial ventures

The Montana Angel Network, in collaboration with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, will redouble its efforts to organize educational opportunities and support angel investors during the year ahead.

The Hellgate Angels are being hosted by the University of Montana School Of Business Administration. The group has scheduled meetings for Tuesdays, January 19, April 20, July 20 and October 19 at 6:30pm. The meetings are open to Accredited Investors interested in investing in area companies. Companies scheduled to present on January 19th include Rivertop Renewables http://www.rivertop.com/ and Satic http://www.saticsaver.com/.

The Hellgate Angels work in collaboration with regional organizations that support entrepreneurs and innovation including the Montana Community Development Corporation, Missoula Area Technology Roundtable, MAEDC, Ravalli County Economic Development and others.

Angels provide about 90% of equity capital for startups and fund over 50,000 new companies annually. They are playing an increasingly critical role in this economic climate. In addition to funding, angels act as mentors, advisors and members of boards for entrepreneurs and their companies. Angels look for a double bottom line: they want to “do well” by making a return on their investment and “do good” by supporting new companies and new jobs in their own regions.

The Montana Angel Network: Raising the profile of entrepreneurs among the investment and entrepreneurial community through access to capital, education and business expertise. The Network is currently comprised of the Frontier Angel Fund, LLC in Northwest Montana, the Hellgate Angels and the Bridger Private Capital Network in Bozeman. The Montana Angel Network serves all parts of the state.
