Headwaters Tech Hub August Newsletter

Summer is winding down, and that means the 2026 Headwaters Tech Hub Summit is right around the corner. It’s one of the highlights our year, and this year’s summit in Missoula is shaping up to be another strong event.

The HTH is all about connecting all the great work already going on across Montana, building a framework that lets us reach farther together. Our annual summit brings together smart folks from around the state and across the country – industry, universities, government, workforce and economic development groups – all with the shared goal of growing our state’s tech ecosystem in a way that works for Montana and the people who live here.

This year we’re highlighting how the technologies we build bring benefits across industry sectors. We’ll kick off the summit with a tech demo day at Lubrecht Forest. Our conference will feature an industry panel building innovative solutions to “wicked” problems, and breakout sessions focused on resiliency in entrepreneurship and expanding onramps into the tech workforce.
