Grizzly Broadband to bring fiber-optic internet to Montana’s Bitterroot Valley

A local internet company says funding from the ConnectMT grant program will help fulfill the company’s mission.
Grizzly Broadband started in 2017, and Ravalli Electric Cooperative bought the company in 2021, but the goal stayed the same — “fiber to everyone.”
Grizzly Broadband started the process in April 2022, applying for grants for six areas from the ConnectMT grant program. The program is funded by with $266 million the American Rescue Plan ACT.
