Great Falls Development Authority strategist , John Mack uses varied business experiences to help local businesses

John Mack has been in his job as a business strategist at the Small Business Development Center at Great Falls Development Authority http://www.gfdevelopment.org/ for two months — and he is loving it.
It’s a great opportunity to put his varied practical and educational skills to work in helping existing and start-up businesses, Mack said, and to help the GFDA create good-paying jobs that can support families.
"Every day is different, and I really like that," Mack said.
Under Rebecca Engum’s leadership, the GFDA’s Small Business Development Center has been one of the state’s top performers. The SBA recommended that the Great Falls center receive extra funding from last year’s Small Business Jobs Act stimulus bill to hire another specialist. Mack will help Engum, freeing her up some for other projects.
