The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Staff from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Montana District Office toured Mountain Wave Distilling under construction in Downtown Great Falls. The tour was part of the SBA’s outreach to veteran-owned businesses during National Veterans Small Business Week. Jeff Miser, a retired Air Force helicopter pilot and owner of Mountain Wave Distilling, gave the tour and also participated in a virtual meetup with 30 other veteran small business owners statewide.
