Free Sustainable Business Workshop, 3/21, Whitefish, Montana

The Crown of the Continent Geotourism Council, Whitefish Convention and Visitor Bureau, City of Whitefish, Montana Office of Tourism, and Montana Department of Environmental Quality invite all area businesses and organizations to attend a sustainable business workshop at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, 1380 Wisconsin Avenue, Whitefish on Wednesday, March 21st from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Both sessions are led by the Yellowstone Business Partnership’s Sustainability Program Manager Heather Higinbotham, who oversees the UnCommon Sense Business Leadership Program. UnCommon Sense is a two-year program that uses education and peer-support to enable business owners and staff to make desired changes to their operations, save money, and empower them to become sustainability leaders in their communities and industry sections. The morning session will cover responsible purchasing and the afternoon session focuses on waste management. Although attendance at both is suggested, the content is unique to each individual session. If you are interested but unable to attend, the workshop will also be presented:
