For many workers at Hewlett-Packard in Boise Idaho, internships go far beyond the interim

Most internships last for a summer. But at Hewlett-Packard in Boise, interns tend to come back year after year, often settling in as full-time employees.

Canyon County native Dan Puga signed on in 1989 when he was a senior at Vallivue High School. Now a research and development director in HP’s Laser Jet business, Puga says the learning opportunities never ended.
