Niklas Anzinger is an anti-aging expert who spends most of his time in Honduras, where he runs an investment firm and a private residential community that’s home to a gene therapy clinic and acts as a gathering place for researchers and founders.

But one of Anzinger’s most recent ventures brought him to Montana, something of a new frontier for his line of work.

“I have no ties to Montana,” Anzinger said. “It had only existed in my imagination.”

As of July, Montana is officially open for business to biotech firms looking to offer experimental treatments to patients, even those who don’t have a terminal diagnosis.
