The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

Do take a minute to review the MEDA Online News http://www.medamembers.org/Feb2011.pdf as it contains a reminder of the scholarship deadline and a summary update of all that the Working Groups are accomplishing.

Also, before the week ends I will send three letters that could serve as a framework for your EDO’s letter if you are concerned about the Federal loss of funding for Essential Air Service, CDBG and EDA funding.

Finally, please know that your MEDA Legislative Committee has been very active and is representing our membership’s priority issues in Helena.
