Entrepreneurs could learn from students

Ever watch somebody pitching a business plan? Some of the things you see are universal.
I noticed that when I attended two entirely different forms of this business cattle call. One was a business plan contest at Independence High School in East San Jose, Calif., , where I was a judge of students in Richard Stapenhorst’s class as they presented their ideas for startups. The other event was the Plug and Play Center Expo in Sunnyvale, Calif., where entrepreneurs lined up to give two-minute "elevator pitches" to venture capitalists.
