Empower North Dakota Commission Presents Energy Plan

The Empower North Dakota Commission http://www.communityservices.nd.gov/energy/empower-north-dakota-commission-information/ is charged with what its name implies: Empower North Dakota to take full advantage of the state`s energy potential.

Today, the commission, chaired by Commerce Commissioner Shane Goettle, presented lawmakers with a plan for the future, and next legislative session. The commission had been meeting with industry leaders for about a year and some of the ideas presented to lawmakers include suggestions for meeting infrastructure and exporting demands.
