Downtown Revitalization In Montana, 2/24, Billings

2005-02-24 08:30:00

The Northern Hotel, Billings, MT

Vacant lots, deteriorating infrastructure, dilapidated industrial buildings, and dwindling tax bases are the remnants of decades of migration from city centers to the suburbs and outlying areas. This seminar offers a unique opportunity for participants to gain a wide variety of practical information on the evaluation and improvement of downtown areas and brownfields. Our experienced faculty will discuss revitalization methods, including how to evaluate and monitor the results of public housing projects, maximize grants and other funding sources, promote community involvement for redevelopment programs and effectively communicate results to public and private interests.
