DECA prepares Bozeman High students for business and life

Bozeman High School senior Kelsey Burcham gets excited when she talks about what she’s learning about business through her classes, the DECA marketing club and statewide competitions.

"It’s like preparing you for life," Burcham, 17, said Tuesday.

Burcham is this year’s president of the 30-member DECA club, which most students know for the snacks it sells at its store on the second floor of Bozeman High.

The DECA store raises money for students to attend state and national competitions.
