The new maker space will have offerings for those with fine art interests from pottery to photography and framing as well as those whose interests tend toward the technical, such as 3D printing, robotics and more.

The new space includes lots of open work tables and a green wall to act as a green screen for video production.

"We’re hoping to create a community where people can meet other makers. No matter what they make," Carter said.
