Commerce Allocates Planning Grants to 14 Economic Development Organizations

The Montana Department of Commerce announced today that 14 Montana communities will share more than $500,000 of grant funding to support vital planning that can help create vision and promote innovation for businesses in Montana. The funding is through Commerce’s Opportunities in Rural Economies Planning Grant Program.

“Commerce’s ORE Planning Grants create good-paying jobs, promote long-term economic growth, retain and expand existing businesses and encourage workforce development for Montana residents,” said Commerce Director Marta Bertoglio.
