Climate crisis: It’s time for more drastic solutions

The impacts of global warming are already severe enough to ask why we didn’t get serious about ending our addiction to fossil fuels while we still had the chance.

Decarbonizing America’s power sector with those options would require only 1 percent of the land in the lower 48 states.
