Business booms for Hoku Materials, slated to build Pocatello, Idaho polysilicon plant

Hoku Materials http://www.hokuscientific.com/hokumaterials.html plans to build a plant on 450 acres at the Pocatello Regional Airport. Last month, company officials announced a $370 million contract with Sanyo Electric Co. that was expected to boost the plant’s size. Company officials now say a German solar power company also is interested in securing a much larger contract than originally anticipated.
