The Appalachian Regional Commission and HandMade in America are sponsoring a two-day conference to provide practical instruction on developing and adapting agriculture, crafts, music, Main Streets, literature, cuisine, recreation and other local assets for the new economy.

The Building Creative Communities conference will be held April 11-12, 2005 in Asheville, North Carolina. The “early bird” registration deadline is March 1.
