After roughly 10 months of review, Bozeman’s historic district boundaries will largely remain the same for now, though city staff have a long to-do list when it comes to ramping up the program that tries to balance the town’s past with its future.

City commissioners approved a plan Monday to update Bozeman’s preservation efforts and its historic guideline document called the Neighborhood Conservation Overlay District.
