Bozeman commissioners vote to ban some short-term rentals, add grandfather clause

City commissioners on Tuesday voted to ban any future non-owner occupied short-term rentals in Bozeman and grandfather in existing permitted units.
Commissioners were considering an ordinance that would have completely banned “type-three” short-term rentals, which are those that are not owner occupied, including those that have current permits.
