Bitterroot Health offering $4,000 scholarship for students pursuing medical careers

Bitterroot Health is continuing its annual Medical Staff Scholarship, offering a one-time $4,000 award to Ravalli County high school graduates pursuing education in the medical field.

The scholarship is designed to support students who have completed at least one year of post-secondary health or medical education. It aims to encourage the next generation of healthcare professionals and reflects Bitterroot Health’s ongoing investment in the future of healthcare in the Bitterroot Valley.

Previous recipients include graduates from across Ravalli County who have gone on to pursue careers in pharmacy and nursing. In 2021, two nursing students received the award in the same year.

Applications for the scholarship are due by Tuesday, June 30, 2026, and must be submitted to the Bitterroot Health Medical Staff Office in Hamilton.
