Ravalli County voters will decide if the Bitterroot College will become independent this May.

The Bitterroot Valley Community College Initiative received enough signatures by community members in favor of putting the proposal of an independent college on the ballot for May 5.

To detail the next steps, the Ravalli County Workforce Alliance will meet at 4 p.m. each Friday at the Ravalli County Economic Development Authority (RECEDA) office, 274 Old Corvallis Rd. Suite A, in Hamilton.
