BillingsBeyond sets goals as it plans for city’s growth

In a city that’s grown nearly 4 percent during each of the last five years, city planners want to make sure they get their plan for growth close to what residents want — and affordable and doable at the same time.

Now that the community outreach and comment period for BillingsBeyond, as it’s being called, has come to an end, Candi Millar is turning to technology to develop possible scenarios for how and where Billings — and the rest of Yellowstone County as well — ought to grow.
