Billings nonprofit gives 50 computers to Northern Cheyenne school

Four years ago Vicki Massie, then volunteer coordinator for St. Vincent de Paul, was presented with a conundrum. People were donating their used computers, some working and some not, and Massie didn’t have the heart to throw them away.

She thought, why not reuse these computers for students who can’t afford them? That started Project REBOOT, or Refurbished Electronics Bring Out Opportunities Together through St. Vincent de Paul.
