Are You Paying Too Much For Your Solar System? AI Platform AgentSolar AI Aims to Cut $2 Billion Solar Sales Overpricing.

AgentSolar AI, founded by former NREL and First Solar employee Tursun Ablekim, has developed an advanced artificial intelligence platform designed to reduce solar sales overpricing. This technology acts as an automated advocate during the sales process, potentially reshaping how rooftop solar deals are negotiated nationwide.

Ablekim gathered and analyzed over one million data points, and the platform can review lengthy, complex solar proposals by ingesting 40-page PDFs. It cross-references installer reputations and market databases with its Quote Evaluation Agent and Company Research Agent to identify inflated costs. Human administrators oversee all communications to ensure accuracy. According to founder Tursun Ablekim, the sales process adds 30 to 40 percent in soft costs to final solar prices, and Ryan Kennedy of pv magazine refers to the $2 billion overpayment as an unnecessary “sales-rep tax.”

It remains to be seen if AgentSolar AI will successfully bring solar soft costs down to more reasonable levels.

If AgentSolar AI’s approach proves effective, it could help Montana consumers achieve fairer pricing amid the complexities of rural solar markets.
