Applications open for Fall 2014 Economic Gardening Certification Course

Hi All,

We are now accepting applications for the Fall 2014 Economic Gardening Professional Certification training session. If you, or someone you know is interested in becoming a certified Economic Gardening specialist, send them online to apply!

If you would like to attend, please complete the short online form as soon as possible as these sessions tend to fill up very fast. Space is limited to 20 seats. First come-first serve. All applications subject to approval process.

Certification includes: Online learning (6 weeks), Retreat (4 days),

• Price: $1200 (retreat lodging and meals included, travel expenses not included)

We think the best advocates for Economic Gardening are individuals who have a deep
understanding of the principles and how they apply to growth companies. This track,
which includes all aspects of team leader training except for the post retreat mentoring, is
specifically designed for the person who will be a local advocate for Economic
Gardening. This person may or may not be officially aligned with a local Economic
Gardening provider. Once an individual becomes aligned with a specific program and
qualifies to be a team leader, they may complete the post retreat mentoring at that time.

Certification includes: Online learning (6 weeks), Retreat (4 days), Post-Retreat (6-8
months)

• Price: $2500 (retreat lodging and meals included, travel expenses not included)
This track is specifically designed for the person who will be leading a local EG Strategic
Research team. As with all disciplines, the participant will learn the theories and tools
behind Economic Gardening, but will also receive in-depth training on how to conduct
the interviews with CEOs and how to lead an EG team. The participant is required to
conduct 2 live engagements during an “internship” period before full certification can be
obtained.

Prerequisites: works closely with business owners, business strategy expert, ability to
listen/facilitate and not consult. Resume must be submitted along with application.

• Price: $1800 (retreat lodging and meals included, travel expenses not included)
These tracks are designed to teach the participants how to engage their current skills
within the EG Strategic Research team model. EG theories and tools will be learned in
these track, as well as in-depth training on how to participate in interviews with CEOs
and what kind of results/reports are expected.
Prerequisites: Applicants must already be experts in their respective field in order to
obtain the EG Professional Certification. Resume must be submitted along with
application to program.You must also have access to databases as you will be required
to do research in the training program and access to databases is not provided.

Online learning portion: August 12 – September 22, 2014

Retreat portion at BRV in Cassopolis, MI: September 23 – 26, 2014

Experiential/Mentoring (does not apply to General Track): October 1 until complete.
