Electric drive trains are radically simpler than modern tractors making maintenance cheaper and easier. Electricity flowing through batteries and electric motors is radically more efficient than diesel being delivered to farms, put into tanks and burned in diesel engines with well-to-wheel efficiencies of around 20%.
