50 per cent more energy from 3D solar towers on a smaller footprint than traditional flat panels.
December 3, 2025/
Renewable energy has now overtaken coal for the first time in global electricity history but it’s not growing quickly enough. Janta Power has developed 3D vertical towers that stack panels upward instead of spreading them across the ground offering triple the solar surface area of traditional flat panels, capturing low-angle morning and evening light and using only a third of the land—perfect for tight spaces and uneven terrain.
The towers can generate 50% more energy and deliver electricity at a remarkably low cost of $0.05 per kilowatt-hour, much less expensive than current technology. Janta Power’s “solar skyscrapers” show how we can attain the goals necessary for renewables.
