What? Formal briefing on Montana’s economy and workforce to Governor Brian Schweitzer. Information will be presented from the statistical report: Profile of the Montana Economy 2005.
The Labor Report is a compilation of national, regional, and state statistics providing economic overviews on topics relating to:
* Demographics – national and state statistics
* Occupations – educational skills/projections
* Industries – high growth industries: wages and employment
Additionally, the Governor will announce the State Workforce Investment Board newly appointed chairperson.
A copy of the Labor Day Report will be made available to all attending members. Time is allocated at the conclusion of the briefing for questions from attendees and media representatives.
