$1,000 of community funding available for survey takers

Sweetgrass Development

Sweetgrass Development is offering $1,000 of project funding to the community that submits the most responses to the 2021 needs assessment survey. The survey should take less than three minutes to complete.  The deadline has been extended until June 11th, giving ample time for business owners, non profits and local governments time to respond.

We will use the responses from this survey to provide business trainings and assess the needs of the region for long term planning. Anyone who owns, operates, or represents a business, nonprofit, or government entity, including the Blackfeet Tribe, the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Montana, Cascade, Glacier, Pondera, Teton, and Toole Counties, is invited to provide feedback. The community that provides the most responses by Friday, June 11th will receive $1,000 towards the project of their choice.

During the pandemic, we were able to assist in securing over $1 million in emergency funding for small businesses and nonprofits. These funds allowed many entities to keep their doors open. We were also able to hire Corey Hageman, our regional director, Sean McGuire, our executive assistant, and Kathy Woodford, our joint administrative assistant with the Pondera Regional Port Authority. Please visit our website at www.sweetgrassdevelopment.org to learn more about trainings, presentations, business assistance, Brownfields assessments, community projects and more.
