$1 million dollar grant will support Great Falls Early Head Start Program

U.S. Sen. Jon Tester has announced a grant for a little more than $1 million will go to support the Great Falls Early Head Start Program. According to the press release, the $1,096,128 grant was awarded to Opportunities, Inc. from the Administration for Children and Families.

Opportunities, Inc. is a Great Falls organization that manages the Head Start, Early Head Start, and Early Head Start Child Care Partnership Programs. According to the Volunteer Great Falls website, “Head Start is a federal program that promotes the school readiness of children ages birth to five from low-income families.”
