Job Description
The Public Affairs Specialist administers a statewide public information program to maximize public exposure and affirm the mission and objectives of Rural Development in Montana. The Public Affairs Specialist implements a comprehensive information program needed to address critical issues; explains RD policies, programs, and activities; informs customers with particular emphasis on socio economically disadvantaged and/or underrepresented populations; and establishes two-way communication with the public, news media and elected officials.
