ON THE ROAD WITH THE MISSOULA CHILDREN’S THEATRE (MCT): Teaching without words in Mexico

In 2006, the Missoula Children’s Theatre http://mctinc.org/ developed and tested a Spanish-language version of “Robin Hood.” The goal was to do something historic.

In more than 30 years, the theater had gone to 21 countries, but the plays had always been performed in English. In Alamos, Mexico, the play would be done in Spanish. The goal was to attempt a play in the native language of another country, so we could further our mission of bringing theater all over the world.
