UM study: Healthcare is fastest-growing industry in Flathead Co.

A new study by the University of Montana indicates that healthcare in Flathead County is the fastest growing industry, providing nearly a third of the county’s total employment.

Bryce Ward is the author of the study and Associate Director at UM’s Bureau of Business and Economic Research.

"I view it as a necessary part of a modern economy is having access to a reasonable amount of healthcare," Ward said.
