Texas.gov Launches as State’s New Web Portal

Texas officially launched its new Web portal, http://www.Texas.gov, on Tuesday, June 8, after a brief soft launch. The site’s design is strikingly different than the state’s previous Web portal, TexasOnline. New features include lots of white space, plain columns of data and a large search field at the top-center of the homepage.
