Portland Seed Fund could hit $3 million mark with Portland Development Commission vote

Two months after planting its inaugural class of eight startups, the Portland Seed Fund http://portlandseedfund.com/ is about to close on a financing round of its own worth nearly $1 million. The hybrid pool of private and public investments, meant to spark the region’s startup community, is expected to reach $3 million.
