Montana University Business Plan Competition Prize Money set at $35,000 for 2007!

Last year the John Ruffatto Business Plan Competition soared to new heights as more than $27,000 in prize money was distributed to 15 teams. The 18th Annual Business Plan Competition will be held on May 10, 2007 and will include $35,000 in prizes. Each year the competition attracts over 30 entries from teams from colleges and universities throughout the state of Montana.

Teams present their plans to distinguished judges during the morning qualifying rounds and then to an audience of over 250 during the finalist round in the evening. The public is welcome to attend this event.

Over 500 students have participated in the event since its inception and more than 40 businesses have been launched after the competition.
