Federal program boosts Bank of Montana Small Business Lending- The Only Montana Bank to Receive the Honor

A new federal small business loan program has already impacted about 160 jobs here in Montana.

The government selected the Bank of Montana http://www.bankofmontana.com/ into its Small Business Lending Fund program http://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/sb-programs/Pages/Small-Business-Lending-Fund.aspx and it’s the only Montana bank to receive the honor, and one of just 130 banks nationwide that were picked.

Bank of Montana President Tom Swenson says in the business’ 20 years of experience, this is the highest demand he’s ever seen for small business loans.
