Economic development is wrong excuse for keeping ICBMs in Montana

Since the moment that scientists split the atom in the New Mexico desert, nuclear weapons in the hands of sane civilizations have been used to first bring about and then guarantee peace.
World War II ended only after airplanes unleashed the horrible hellfire of atomic bombs over Japan. The façade of the Cold War was an expensive show of force between the United States and Soviet Union, with both sides waving nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles to keep the other at bay. England and France joined in that fray.
