Miles Community College is currently accepting applications for a Library Director. This position is responsible for long range library planning, developing library policies and procedures, strategic planning and budgeting, as well as day-to-day operations. The Library Director will also be responsible for planning and coordinating library based college-wide cultural events and activities.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA accredited institute is required. Advanced MLS candidate within 8 credit hours of graduation may be considered. Academic Library experience preferred. Proven supervisory skills and management experience as well as excellent organization and communication skills.
