‘Nothing prettier:’ Montana Flag and Pole Co. has been supplying American flags since 1998

Pat and Fred Verzani helped decorate the Capitol building in 1989 for the centennial celebration of Montana gaining statehood.

A picture still hangs in their store that shows the giant red white and blue streamers that hung from the Capitol as fireworks burst in the dark sky behind. It was after that they saw an opening to supply flags for Montana events.

Nearly a decade later, in 1998, the couple opened Montana Flag and Pole Co. http://www.flagandpole.com/ , and they haven’t looked back.
