UM shares $50M NASA grant to study life in universe

Along with the Goddard Space Flight Center and a select group of research schools, the University of Montana learned this week it will share in a $50 million grant from NASA.
UM President Royce Engstrom made the announcement Tuesday, saying UM was one of seven institutions across the country selected by NASA to research the origin, evolution and distribution of life in the universe.
