Missoula College UM enjoys great support for career initiative from business community

On June 20, Missoula College UM http://www.mc.umt.edu/ sponsored a workshop that brought together teachers from secondary and post-secondary schools with representatives of various Missoula area business and industries to expand the Career Pathways initiative.

The goal of this initiative is for high school students to have a successful transition into their chosen career through the establishment of an educational plan – a Career Pathway built by aligning curriculum from secondary to post-secondary coursework.

As the organizer of the workshop, "From Education to Industry – Career Pathways," I want to thank publicly the business and industry representatives that attended this event. They dedicated an entire business day to engage in conversation with educators on how to improve programs and provide the educational path students need to compete in our economy.
