Reorganized New West bounces back
November 22, 2012 /
It’s been a year of transition for what was once Montana’s second-largest private health insurer, but New West Health Services is bouncing back with new growth, its new president and CEO said this week.
Helena-based New West, which lost almost three-fourths of its customers when financial backers sold off parts of the business this year, is poised to increase its customer base by 30 percent in January.
"That’s remarkable growth," said President and CEO Leon Lamoreaux. "Good fortune favors the prepared. Part of this was the product placement we have now. … We had a really solid product portfolio, and good implementation."
