Montana school trust lands generate $70M

The Montana Department of Natural Resources announced today Montana’s school trust lands have generated more than $70 million for public education.
State Superintendent Linda McCullouch says the money from the state trust lands provide the fundamental building block of the public schools, making up more than 7% of the state’s school funding.
