Bozeman City Commission signals support for “cohousing” – new apartment building type

A “cohousing” text amendment will add a new apartment building designation to allow developers to construct buildings with five to eight units of varying sizes in some residential areas in Bozeman.

    The plan, dubbed Massachusetts 2050 Decarbonization Roadmap, looks at various factors that contribute to carbon pollution. State administrators noted that cars are major contributors to carbon pollution, and any plan to achieve net-zero emissions must include the eradication of fossil fuel-powered automobiles.
