What’s new at Montana Nonprofit Association: Programs, resources, and important nonprofit news

As the federal government shutdown continues, impacts are beginning to stack up. This week, SNAP benefits are expected to be cut off for over 77,000 Montanans – including children, seniors, and people with disabilities.
Nonprofits are leaning in as we always do – despite reduced funding. To the food pantries, shelters, schools, and other organizations preparing to hold your communities up in a time of crisis, we see you.
Last week, Adam Jespersen wrote an op-ed published in the Daily Interlake and other papers around the state urging our congressional delegation to prioritize the needs of Montana communities—affordable healthcare access, food security, and economic stability.
