Western Rural Development Center Grant RFP & Upcoming NET network meeting Feb. 4

The Western Rural Development Center is pleased to share our grant opportunities and information on the upcoming National Extension Tourism (NET) network meeting, which we encourage you to share with your teams. We anticipate widespread participation and are excited about the potential programming that may emerge as a result.
WRDC grant opportunities:

We have three programs,
  1. The deadline for the call for proposals is March 7th, 2025. You may access these call for proposals on the center’s website using the links above for each program.
     
    National Extension Network meeting group:
     
    We are excited to announce that the National Extension Tourism (NET) network strives to widen collaboration around agritourism and outdoor recreation in the Western Region. In collaboration with the Western Rural Development Center (WRDC), they are organizing a working group session on Tuesday 4th February at 1pm (MST) on Zoom:

     This first meeting would be an opportunity to:

           -Introduce the NET and their activities in the West

           -Discuss grants that are being launched by the WRDC: https://wrdc.uidaho.edu/funding-opportunities/

           -Start a conversation about future collaboration about agritourism and outdoor recreation
